Mike Turi

Originally from Morristown, New Jersey, Mike came to New Orleans to study and earn his BSM at the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ and founded Upbeat Wealth to help families maximize their resources, share more purposeful experiences, and build lasting legacies.

Engrained in the financial advisory community, Mike previously served as the Next Gen Chair on the Financial Planning Association of Louisiana chapter board and currently belongs to organizations such as the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, XY Planning Network, and the Fee-Only Network.

When Mike isn’t trying to reshape the next generation of financial planning, he can be found in the St. Claude/Bywater neighborhoods of New Orleans, where he lives, works, and attempts to do pretty much everything else. You can frequently find him with his family in Crescent Park walking their neurotic German Shepherd, Smokey, and goofball Lab Pitt, Grady. When he is not giving out belly-rubs, he can be found trying new recipes and over-gardening their small yard. If he MUST leave the neighborhood, he is most likely biking to the Superdome.

As an advocate for New Orleans youth, Mike enjoys volunteering at Son of a Saint and coaching the Middle School lacrosse team at the Isidore Newman School.
